i've been away and now, it appears, i have returned. in the interim, several adventures seemed to have claimed me. in hindsight though, they were all merely events. bearing only anecdotal value. and little else. at least in terms of experience. pleasant distractions nonetheless.
questions asked recently have ranged from what is the meaning of this (in regard to un chien andalou) to what is the meaning of this (in regard to inclement weather). it is, as fb would say, on my mind. what is the meaning of this? i said to the children i was addressing, "rejoice, here is a kind of liberation from the tyranny of meaning."
so rejoice. there is a kind of liberation from the tyranny of meaning. lambs and rabbits and colorful birds of paradise will need to appear from within my magic hat in a very short while. i will not quail under extreme duress, quite real, though perhaps mostly imagined. there is so much to come. so very much. i imagine the sigh of relief at the conclusion, and i plod on for that, it is infinitely more attractive than deferral, which i have come to despise.
everything else is immaterial.
but tomorrow we learn names. reclaim a pleasurable activity that became a chore. and practice the art of appearing to be possessed of infinite grace.
